Eating ice cream at Baskin Robbins in Tucson with friends
Unfortunately Henry, Shirley, Annie and Joe (from our Benson
campground)also have to stay in Tucson for medical reasons.
But we had a good time that day.
Jack has to stay at a lower altitude while recovery from another
macular hole surgery. So we picked this big site in the Tucson
Meadows Motor Home Park.
In 1999 Jack and I decided to sell our 45' motorsailboat and purchase a new 36' Winnebago Chieftain motorhome. It was time to explore the interior of the US instead of its shoreline.
Jack and I immediately set off from Ft Lauderdale FL to Alaska where we spent 2 1/2 months.
Our maiden land voyage was estimated to last a year. But Jack and I fell in love with life on the road. After 4 years of full timing, we sold the Ft L condo.
We still needed a place to call home and now lease a rv lot with a casida in the Benson AZ SKP park.
The RV lifestyle has opened up a new world for us. We're now into off roading, photography and Workamping.
Jack and I are enriching our lives with exciting new adventures and friendships with people from all walks of life. Thanks to cell phone, email and blogs, we can stay in touch.
Jack and I are looking forward to many more years on the road.
